There is a speed limiter for every cage, and when its descent speed reaches 1.2m/s, this limiter can stop the cage from moving. A sensitive and reliable overload protection device is fitted in this double cage construction elevator, and overload happens, this device will automatically cut off the electricity to ensure the operation safety.

The main components include cages, operator's cab, transmission mechanism, speed limiter, guiding track frame, bottom cage, tie-in, boom, electrical system, and security system.
